hi new to this but hope you can help a little. right to start of with ive got a glowworm compact 80p combi boiler, its about 6 years old now,everything working fine, hot water heating etc. but before xmas when the heating was on kept hearing a only way i can describe it sorry was like a mmmmmmmm noise not all the time just now and again. well now when the boiler is of ie: no heating on its sometimes making again only way i can describe is when you get a ringing in your ears noise and its intermitent, have been told the hhhhhhhhh noise could be the fan but could the ringing noise when boiler not on be related replies gratefull thnxs
