Noisy Candy tumble dryer

Hi all , its pretty much in the thread title . When the drier turns there is a really annoying squeek (worse one way than the other).
Of course its just out of its 12 mth warrantee, is this a common bearing type issue ?
Is it DIY repairable ?

tumble dryers generally do not have bearings as such. They are really quite primitive in that the drum rotates on rear pulleys at the rear and a felt pad between a metal housing at the front. It is not unusual for these to create squeaks and groans as it runs.
