Hi
There's a few posts on noisy pipes. In our flat the pressure was low but all was quiet, turned up the stop cock, pressure great but lot of noise when it refills.

There toilet cistern is out/not fitted so that only leaves the immersion.

My q is are all these valves interchangeable, will any aftermarket fit if I were to replace....
OR better to fix ? if I can locate the cause (think someone said in another post it could be a washer)

Thank you,
Pg

What valve are you talking about ?
Ballcock in a loft tank that supplies a hot water cylinder ,or something else ?

Thank you Andy, really appreciate your help/knowledge and that link.

I've ordered to pick up later and fit tomorrow.
Kev- :)

where do I need to insert those or is it quite intuitive when I disassemble ?
either side of tank I assume (I overthought that : )

The seal fits between the valve tail and the supply pipes tap connector, where they screw to each other.
You must remove all traces of the old washer

Thank you for everyone's help, finally got to empty and fill today and it was perfect :)
