noisy taps

how much more noise
A bit, probably
If excessive you can add a pressure reducing or flow controlling valve (or squash some microbore..)
Don't use a partly shut ballofix cos they make a din.

ChrisR can you recommend any ''quiet '' taps that are similar ?

I find my quarter turns are only noisy when water is not at full.
Makes a hell of a racket.

Ballofix is that the same as this?

the taps sound like a drill when partially opened !!  too
noisy esp. at night .

They also have a narrower spout /body compared to old taps , will
try ChrisR flow restrictors solution when plumber comes back .
If that doesn't cure the noise then replacement taps is best solution
for bath ( don't want to restrict flow will take to long to fill up).
