Hi - I want to paint the floor of my double garage with a good quality non-slip paint - can anyone recommend one, please - and what is the best/easiest way to apply it to a large area?

Thanks, in advance,

OJ.

Most of the big maafactureres do them in their specialist sections. The best way to apply it is to completley remove all dust especially from the corners. i use a brush to cut into the walls andcome up about 100 mm then use a roller on a pole to start at the back and work to the front.

Dont bother with the two pack ones they are very expensive.

If the floor is bare concrete then youl need to thin the first one out

I have recently painted all the floors in our workshops..I used water based two pack expoxy...ordinary water based and traditional oil based..the finish on the two pack was really poor.

The oil based is good but if you painting a large surface area fumes may be an issue

I prefered the water based one...although in the cold weather drying time may be slowed down

All of them were made by Johnstones.

Oh one other thing...dont use the texted one..it traps dust and doesnt go very far either..and looks patchy.
