Hi
I was installing refurbished old doors upstairs when I noted that the door frame is not quite squared so the doors look as if they are falling to the right. The side of the frame hinges is about 1cm shorter than the opposite side and the effect can be seen in the pictures.
Is there any way to disguise this without doing mayor work? I have taken off the top architrave to see if I could “square” the frame but the plaster is quite old and I am worry to make too much of a mess.

you needed to shoot the door in correctly.might be too late to make a decent job now.
but what i do is to offer the door up the the hole, and wedge it up then using a packer or 3 run a line along the top of the door this is then planned down to ensure a proper fit.
