Norton disconnected

I have my Norton anti-virus disconnected and when I try to connect it again I got this weird message "an error has ocurred in the script on this page"which is quite hard to get rid off (only after clicking several times in the close box).
What is going on!!??

You'll need to elaborate, Such as details of OS, what version Norton AV,what else were you running at the time, has this problem occured recently if so have you recently installed some other software?
Do you regularly run a virus and spyware check?
Have you checked Nortons website for information regarding this problem?

What is going on!!??

What's going on is that you have a Norton product, so you'd be wise to expect some of the most repugnant and intractable faults in the known software universe.

I would ditch it and get something cheaper and more reliable.
