I need to find a mortice latch for an internal door, either cylinder or box type, it doesn't matter, the important thing is the back set (distance from the front of the front plate to the centre of the hole) to be no more than 40mm.
So far I can only find latches that are 63mm overall length, which is fine, but with a back set of 44mm. That last 4 or 5mm is crucial because I have a limited door frame width and I don't want to have to fit a roller latch.
Can anyone help me?
