1930s house. Roof all OK. Tiles in good nick. But there is no felt and it gets really dusty in the loft, so much so that we don't store much up there.
Obviously I could get a roofer to remove all tiles, remove battens, felt and replace (and hope no tiles get damaged in the process). But guessing that would cost a lot.
Would it be sensible to do something from the inside, DIY? If so, what? Obviously dust will still get in, but at least it'll accumulate at the bottom. Maybe just staple some of that foil insulation to the rafters? Although not bothered about insulation as such, as loads in the loft already. Could a felt be fitted to the underside? Or would something terrible happen?
