Olive Green exterior paint ?

Would like to treat garage door and two other side doors to a coat of that "classy" matt very dark green I see now and then...what sort of paint is it please, and who does it.

most likely power coating put on at factory. you could use polyuathane two pack in matt thats what we paint then in when they need re-doing

that's if they're metal doors, right?

good point john so if they are wood use a alkyd semi-gloss or a quick drying acrylic matt or semi gloss

The garage doors are metal and the others wood, do I really need two types of paint, they may not match and sound expensive

you will need two different primers, but the finish paints in billyos second post will suit either substrate.

A paint supplier can mix different kinds of paint to the same colour, but this is more expensive than off-the-shelf paints, and they may fade and erode differently, especially outdoors

Water based paints should be avoided on metals.
