Hiya.

One of the Mother-in-Law's upstairs rad's isn't getting hot; have bled it. I therefore assume system is either unbalanced or not enough pressure.

Can't find the valve to introduce more water/pressure into the system.

Can anyone spot it here please!?

Cheers

Looks like it's fed from a loft tank ( f&e) and not a sealed / pressurised system. Does rad give water out the bleed valve on the rad ?
Does it have a TRV ( thermostatic radiator valve ) ??

Agree re loft tank. Yes rad gives water out. No it doesn't have a TRV

Are both valves open on the rad ? If so turn all other rads off by their TRV ( if they have one ) or their wheel head valve . Don't touch their lockshields. Run heating and see if bedroom rad heats.

Yeah they're open. Did as you said, and it's started getting hotter

When it gets upto the full temperature that you would expect it to ,open the other radiators valve. Hopefully all will now work ok ,if bedroom rad goes cold the system will need to be balanced.
