Is this type of boiler adequate to run a 3 bed semi .

Well, without seeing the house or asking pertinant questions about double glazing and loft insulation, I would answer " I expect so".
I try to avoid doing work for neurotic women, unless its on a hourly rate that is!

If you post the following details we can work it out:-
1) Length in metre of house & number of outside walls
2) Width in metres of house & number of outside walls
3) Height of ceilings
4) Type of wall insulation
5) Depth of roof insulation 7 roof type
6) Type of windows
But, the 15 in the boilers model name will refer to the amount of heat in kilowatts that it produces. It would be an odd 3 bedroom semi in the south east that needed more than that.
