Optical fire alarm

Hi,I changed the battery in the fire alarm, but it still keeps going off for no reason. Can anybody help please?

You mean you changed the battery in your battery operated smoke detector?

Did you also clean the detector?

Thrips...

They, along with many other little insects can get in detectors & cause problems.
It could also be faulty.

But as Breezer has indicated, with a new battery, cleaning is also a must at least every year

It's powered from the mains but has a battery back up.I'll give it a good
clean. Thanks for the tip
