OS Hard Waxoil for kitchen worktops?

I've just invested in some v nice 40mm thick oak worktops for the new kitchen. They have come 120grit sanded but unfinished, I've read all the comments on Tung Oil, to dilute or not to dilute...etc. I was wondering whether anyone had any views on using OS Hard Waxoil (now known as Polyx Oil) for these worktops? I've got a stack of it for my oak floors and its lovely stuff, easy to apply, non-toxic etc. Any views...?
