Hello,
I've started to use Osmo coloured wood wax finish on a pine floor, but something seems to be going awry... It's been applied in a thin coat with a brush. 24 hours later, even though it seems to have dried ok, it looks as though there's a thick, opaque coat of matt colour on top of the boards, and here & there some of the brush marks are still visible. It's like there's a layer of coloured wax just sitting on top of the boards. We've tried giving it a good rub, but this doesn't seem to help.
The only places where it looks different happen to be in an area over some central heating pipes - here there's a good colour & slight sheen as I'd expect.
We've used the Osmo hardwax oil really successfully on other floors in the house, & have applied this in the same way, so no idea what might have gone wrong. Anyone got any clues?
thanks very much,
Louise
