our TV started giving comentary while viewing programs.

Recently our TV started unwanted comentary while viewing a program in UK.

In Menu & settings there is nothing relating to comentary, only subtitles.

Anybody knows why this happens & how to get rid of it?

Look for "audio description" or an AD button

I think the "subtitle" button on your remote will get you into the option to have that on or off.

We get that with the football - I think it`s caused by pundits

Yep, it's on "Audio description." You should be able to turn this off, by looking through the manual you got with your tv.

There is no "audio discription" nor subtitle anywhere, remote, menus, settings etc, I looked & tried all, & this is so in all our 3 tv's.

Have you googled for this? Are you using a cable box/sat box or another freeview box? If so, the AD may be from that instead.

I think AD is controled via the text buttons. Its not a menu option.

If you have a Samsung Smart TV, like I do. The third button up from the bottom right hand corner on your remote will get you into the "Audio description/Subtitle" menu. Pressing that button will take you straight into that menu.
The button is marked "AD/SUBT"
