My spanking new wood built workshop takes pride of place in the garden... it's adjacent to the house with just a decked area between. I now need to run power! I know i need to inform local authorities but does anyone know what sort of costs are involved? I'll do the installation myself but am not qualified so am going to asume it'll need inspecting.
Also the armoured cable will exit the building about 7 ft up. Does it have to go straight underground, i was thinking run it around outside of building which just leaves about 8ft to travel below the decking to the shed?
