Outdoor tiling to small wall

Very little experience of tilling. Ugly little wall that the owner wants tiling to give the patio a med look. Do i need special tiles or adhesive for outdoor tiling. Please advise

Tiling grout is water proof and tiles are also, so imho any will do. But there will be better people in the know will tell you better.

i'm sure Bal products and the like will make an external spec adhesive and grout, after all outdoor pools have tiles don't they.

we tiled a milking parlour years ago, these were stuck using a sand and cement type render. and by heck the existing tiles took some shifting.

frost proof teracotta and possibly fix with sand/cement slurry....or a powdered adhesive .......ask in the decorating/tiling forum
