Outset Gas Fire - Height Requirement With No Hearth

Hello.

From searching previous posts, I understand the height of outset gas fires without a hearth was a minimum of 300mm from any flammable flooring to the flame.

Has this changed from 2008 as this is the most recent post I could find on this subject and now we are under Gas Safe Regs & not Corgi.

If the appliance is to be wall mounted, there should be at least 225 mm clearance from the burner to any floor coverings. If it is fitted and there are no floor coverings the height should be increased to 300 mm. :)
