I came home after a week away today to find one of my overflow pipes dripping. How do I know whether it is my toilet or water tank? I have three pipes just under the roof, two quite close together and one further away (plus one much lower down on the same wall). I think it was the middle one of the three top ones dripping. I flushed the loo a couple of times and that lessened the drip. There is no sound of water in the loo and there is no sound of the tank filling up unless I flusd the loo. It now seems to be dripping once every five minutes. My loo is less than a year old. I will need to call someone out but I would like to know where the problem lies before I do.
Any help appreciated.

Do you have a toilet in the loft?

Check which tank is overflowing and adjust the ball valve to cut off water 2 inches below overflow level if it is the big tank.

:D
