Hi all,

I’m planning to repaint our bedroom this weekend. We have previously had some mould in the corners by the window and I’m wondering what I can do to fix it so I can paint over with our new colour and make it look okay?

Please see the photos attached. Cheers.

I would:
1. Remove mould using mould remover.
2. Remove loose parts of plaster and wood using decorator/painters tool.
3. Sand, sand and sand until clear sound surfaces.
4. Fill holes smooth surface wherever needed and sand again, decorate. Easifill for plastered walls and use 2 part wood filler for wooden parts.
5. Apply anti mould paint - 2 coats.
