Hi, I've got a large area of internal paint grade block that will be an office to paint.

Will emulsion be ok or should masonry paint be used? Also what kind of prep is best to get rid of dust and loose bits etc?

Do any of you have any experience with this surface and if so, any tips?

Thanks

PS. It's a brand new build, if that makes any difference.

1 mist coat two full coats emulsion thats the correct spec, ;) you could use masonry paint if you want to splash the cash  but it will be no better ;) must have painted thousand's of blocks with emulsion  always looks good ;)

Cheers for that.

What's the best way to prep it? Run a vac over it?
