Paint peeling help needed !! Please

As above I have an issue where the paint is peeling off of new coving !!
I think it's due to the decorator painted over dust by the looks of it is there
Anything I can do to stop it as I don't want to go to the extremes of replacing 20 metres of it

There is absolutely no need to replace the coving!

Just sand down the peely bits lightly (especially lightly if the coving is made of polystyrene), wipe with a damp cloth and repaint.

If you think the surface is quite fragile, you could then put a coat of Zinsser 123 on it to stabilise, then paint with whatever paint the rest of the coving is done in.

Or even better, get the sloppy decorator back and insist he does it properly or gives you a partial refund. Painting a dirty surface is unforgiveable!
