Hey all, looking for some advice from what appears to be a pretty friendly forum
Moved into our new to us home 10 months ago. As we moved in we gave the downstairs a fresh coat of paint. We used a trusted decorator. However, we used b&q valspar trade paint, which we retrospectively discovered is not as good as it used to be….
The entire hallway upstairs and down has been painted with this and we actually have no issues, bar a small patch which is in the kitchen.
The patch in question used to be wallpaper, which was removed and plastered in patches to smooth out. It was primed and given two coats. Now recently we have seen the attached occur, it’s also the inside of an outside wall (if you get me). There is no damp to report.
We had multiple other areas plastered, primed and painted with no issue.
The only things of note are: the paint; the plaster area; and the fact that an outside door is at 90 degrees to the spot? Ideally would like to avoid repainting the entire wall. But if needed we will do.
Any advice appreciated.
