The exposed stone interior walls of my house have been painted white (or maybe whitewashed). Any ideas how I can get rid of the paint/whitewash and return the walls to their natural state? Thanks

Here in North America when sandblasters work indoors they put up plastic sheeting to keep the dust confined to the work area.

They may track dust into an out of the work area on their feet, tho.

Anyhow, I'd consider having the paint sandblasted off, and then give it an acid wash to remove the surface layer of rock and mortar that may still have paint in the crevices that the shot can't get into.

Yep...my first thoughts too...sandblasters..personally...i think it would be easier moving!!!!
