Hi

I have a grey concrete wall at the back of my garden which looks very dull and drab to say the least! I would love to paint it a cream colour but have been told that I would need to have the wall plastered first. I have also heard about some kind of plaster/paint on a web site.

Is it possible to paint this wall without plastering and what sort of paint would I need to use etc? All advice gratefully received!

Thanks
Elise

You can paint a concrete wall with masonry paint.

If it is in a shady position, it will tend to grow mildew when damp. A darker colour will not look so bad as white so will need less cleaning and maintenance to look smart.
