Fellow DIYers,

Soon I am going to paint a kitchen door frame and would appreciate some guidance for a really professional finish. The frame has been sanded down to bare wood. Some guidance on the following would be greatly appreciated:-

1. Brush size.
2. The best quality gloss white oil paint to use.
3. Some helpful techniques (where to start and brush stroke direction etc) to guarantee a decent end result.
4. Approximate time it should take per coat.

Many Thanks

You shouldn't have sanded it down to bare wood.
