Ooops, I just realised I posted this in the wrong place, so here it is again!
Hey everyone! I'm new to the whole DIY thing, and thought I'd better ask the experts before plunging ahead and ruining things! I'm wanting to repaint this old dog run:
ready for a new puppy. I have a few questions before I start though:
1. What do I do about all that green furry stuff that's growing on it? Is there some sort of chemicle I need to use, or do I scrub it with water, or will the fresh paint just cover it?
2. As the old paint is still clinging in flakes, how do I ensure the fresh stuff goes on smoothly? Do I prime it with something?
3. What sort of paint is puppy-safe? We aren't getting her for another month yet but I need to know she won't take harm from chewing it when we do get her.
4. Is there anything else I need to know that I've missed out?
Any help would be much appreciated!
