Painting MDF with roller

Hiya

Is it possible to get a smooth finishing when painting MDF using roller? I keep getting 'bits' from the roller when painting making my project looks like dirty if you know what I mean.

Is it because of the quality of the roller?

I used brush before but roller is much much quicker and even painting.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Use a faom glosser radiator size roller

Rub down between each coat and make sure you dust off the surface each time..

Use new paint and make sure the brushes trays and kettles are clean before you start
