Had a small extension done have dark brown roof tiles on existing house. Roofing contractor put on dark grey tiles not brown & haven't said why. They're reluctant to retile the roof with brown tiles that are available & are far better match but say they can paint them brown with a special paint. Is this a sensible thing to do & how long would that last roughly?
