painting new t and g floorboards

hi i am near the end of a self build and need to paint the t and g pine floorboards in the bedrooms and bathroom / staircase , i am using farrow and ball floor paint (waterbased) and and auro floor paint . my question is that we have a reading of around 15% on hydro meter on the pine floorboards , the paint companys recomend that you should paint it at 10%. i have dehumidifiers on . but dont seem to get the reading down to 10% am i being to picky can i paint at 12 /13% or must it be 10% any help

You've spent a lot on F+B paint ? I would strongly recommend you wait for the flooring to dry as they recommend . Just live with the bare wood for a while - getting a bit dirty won't hurt them , a sand down will suffice
