I have been waiting for my painter to do the outside of my newly rendered house for 6 months and have decided to have a go my self. Just after advie regarding

1 how many coats?
2 PVA or under coat first?
3 drying time between coats?
4 best paint to use? looking at white or cream

What would be a good quote : 4 bedroom semi house 9 metres x 9 metres

1, As many coats as you want, I would say 3 min.

2, No PVA. you could put a render sealer on it,

3, Depends on the weather and metreage covered.

4,Crown Strong Hold or Dulux Weather Shield.(Colours of your own choice)

As for quote I wouldn't know as these answers are only my personal opinion.

Might be better to put this on Painting and Decorating....

;)
