Hi, I have no real experience of parquet flooring but I have quite a lot that was removed from my house when building work was done. It is the small strips stuck to bitumen in squares. Does it have much value? It is not oak but probably mahogany or similar reddish timber.

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Andy

Best place to ask is reclamation yards.
Teak, Rhodesian teak were used frequently in the 50's up to the 80's for 5 finger mosaic floors.
If it's teak: new teak mosaic is very very hard to get by - too much demand for sustainable sources, too few suppliers of teak from sustainable sources.

Hmmm great  I've dumped about 50M of the stuff! Put down in the early 70's so probably not worth anything.

Can't be worth much as what could you do with all those little bits?

Can you post back if you get anything for it. I have some good squares left ;)
