Need some advice. I have installed a Hansgrohe Universal I-Box in my bathroom wall, which is Wedi 20mm tilebacker board. Where the hole is cut through the board, Hansgrohe recommend sticking their rubber 'gasket' to the wall using PCI Lastogum X or similar.
Looking at the PCI website it appears that the Lastogum X liquid membrane product is part of a tanking kit. As I only want the liquid adhesive/ membrane buying a full kit is too expensive.
Is there an alternative? What would be suitable for sticking this rubber gasket to the tilebacker board to ensure a waterproof, durable seal to tile onto?
