PE-X Pipe in Central Heating system

Hi may have to cut my copper pipes going to my air separator as it appears bunged/clogged up, if i do this ill have great difficulty fitting copper back due to the limited space, could i use this type of pipe with either push on or compression connectors

If you can get that in why can you get copper in ?

Just thought it would be easier, more flexible, i open to suggestions, i dont have skills or tools to solder. Here's a pic of the current air separator taking leaning over the cylinder. Another option im guessing would be to cut the 4 pipes ( think they are 22mm) and clean out the Air Separator/Pipe work then re attach it using compression connectos, although a tight space to work in?
