Peeled Paint

Hiya guys, I need to cover an area in a room where sanding has peeled old dry paint from underneath, it's only a small area, but I'm not much of a DIY person, whats the easiest way to fix this? I painted over it thinking that would work but it didn't. Someone recommended Polyfilla Spray and a taper knife?

Buy a small bag of easifill. Knock it up and spread it over the peeled area, rub down flush and prime with watered down emulsion.
If you think further peeling may occur, roll on a coat or two of zinnser gardz or peel stop first.

Easi fill is a rip off. Get some Tetrion from the pound shop.
