Pendant lights and the fitting

OK, pic as requested of the switch on the wall.

The right hand side control the pendant in question and the red and yellow are permanently live. it is wired in 2.5 not 1.5mm, Im taking it that this was done because it was running the fan as well as the light!

With my head in a hole in a bedroom I have located the junction box but its under the landing floor so I need to take that up now - Jesus one simple job turns into a nightmare!!!!!!

if red and yellow are perm live the switch is knackered the yell should only be live when the switch is in one position not perm live

well spotted fireman, sorted new switch and all is working just perfectly, thanks for all your help guys
