Hi, all. We are intending on stripping some wallpaper off our walls. They are not old and so are reasonably laid firmly. We will be using a steam cleaner with a stripper attachment plus a blade stripper. We also saw a perforator that's billed to make the process easier. We're more than happy to use it but our worry is that it'll damage the wall surface. Having never stripped wallpaper before and no filling-in or plastering skills to speak of, we were just wondering whether we could get away with just the steamer and the blade. With these two tools, is there still a risk of scratching the wall. We'd like to minimise this as the plan is to lay paint on it to match adjacent walls that haven't been wallpapered. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
J
