Photocell wiring

I have just replaced, and relocated an existing photocell. This is on a wall switch that once switched will come on at dusk.

We have some patio lights that are on a second switch, that I would like to run off the photocell aswell. I have tried various options, but I can only get them working from the same switch, not their own independant switches.

Will I need to install another photocell, or can this be done from the one cell.

You can't link two sets of lights switched independently of each other via the same photocell because then they will all come on together. You need a second photocell or to ditch the second switch.

If you need two switching points, you would have to make one a 2-way conversion of the first.
