Thanks for the description and advice in the 'how to' section. More photos and/or diagrams would be really helpful. eg Showing the wiring in the sockets before, during and after adding a spur or extending the ring....

It is not only useful for people wishing to do these sort of things themselves, but also for checking up on people who we have employed. I speak as someone who has recently unfortunately employed a (fully qualified) cowboy electrician...

Dan…………….The WIKI, is added to and modified by subscribers to this forum. IMO you'll find a lot more information in the WIKI, including diagrams and photos.
