Pilot light goes out and relights every 2 or 3 seconds

Hello,

Please can anybody help me. My combi boiler works fine when heating the water for my taps when I turn the central heating on the the pilot light goes out and every 2 or 3 seconds the boiler relights. There is a whoosh of a flame and then it goes out before relighting. I have had a plumber in but he can not work out what is happening. The radiators do get hot but the problem is worrying and the noise is annoying. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
