Pine treatment with ammonia?

I used to use a commercial water based pine treatment on new untreated pine furniture which dried to a matt finish which was then "polished" to a silky finish with fine wire wool.

Unfortunately. this was a long time ago and I cant remember where I bought it or what it was called.

Anybody know what it was please?
