Hi, took the good advice from my last post and have been to buy a showerforce pump ready for when I install my new thermostatic mixer shower.

I hope someone can help me with my question, my shower instruction manual for the shower says that the pipe runs for both hot and cold should be 22mm to reduce pressure loss, then put in reducers as close to the shower valve as possible to make the pipe 15mm as the shower will only accept this size pipe

The shower pump only accepts 15mm pipework too, so does this mean I have to got to the trouble of installing reducers just before the inlet of the pump to reduce it down to 15mm, just after the outlet of the pump to take it back up to 22mm then add another reducer just before the shower valve to take it back down to 15mm again!

Can I just make the whole run 15mm from start to finish, or would this give me problems????

22 on the suction side both H+C  how long is the delivery side.also see what the others think ;)

delivery side is going to be roughly 10.5m by the time the pipework goes up into the attic across the house and back down into the bathroom.

Make sure you fit this pump in the airing cupboard and NOT in the loft as it can be prone to freezing, it also must not be covered and positioned horizontally on it's seat, also don't solder any where near the pump as it can damage it, (check your installation guide to confirm all of above.

I would make your pipe runs from the pump in 22mm and then then drop down in 15mm to the shower as 10.5 metre is a fair old run.

i would personaly take both hot and cold all the way to the shower decresing and increasing in size all the way to get best performance.
