hi peeps i am doing a roof which is about 18 degrees pitch i am using a welsh slate which i must use the slate is 300 + 500 the gauge i have used is 110 headlap will i get pulled.

18 degrees seems low for a slate roof, the lowest I've gone is 22 degrees and then BC said to double batten and use a headlap of 125mm.

Either way your local BC should be able to let you know what they require as there are also factors such as if the pitch is on the weathered side of the building - i.e. moderate exposure or severe exposure.
 
A 510 x 305 mm (20 x 12") slate laid with a 115mm headlap is suitable for a 20 degree roof pitch in an area of moderate exposure.

You're slightly out on those criteria but IMO you're close enough.

Depends if you've got a nasty Clerk of Works!
