Looks like standard Lafarge plasterboard. Any sort of plasterboard, even moisture resistant, is next to useless in a wet area unless it’s tanked & that includes around baths. You need to use a decent tile backer board if you want it to last; Aquapanel is competitively priced & will do fine.
No BR’s or anything in NHBC against using standard PB in wet areas, it’s the builder being cheapskate to maximise profit or ignorant of the limitations of plasterboard. I would normally expect it to last longer than 18 months though but 3-5 years is about the norm.
I pull apart & refurbish bath/shower rooms that look like that all the time but I don’t complain, it’s just the sort of original fit out that keeps me busy.
