Ive got to do some skimming, and put some hardcoat around into some socket chases next week in my kitchen. How long should I leave it before thinking about putting up new wall cabinets etc? Also - how long before painting?

Cheers

Skim, by it's nature, dries out very quickly & is not affected by basecoat/render moisture; around 24 hours but leave it for 2-3 days to be sure before fixing & painting.
