Plaster Quality

Hi there,

Could someone with knowledge please help me to judge the quality of this plastering?

One side seems in OK condition, while the other seems damaged. I'm a beginner, and I would really appreciate some help in understanding what I'm looking at here.

Maybe be better posting this in the plastering sub-forum mate... grey bit looks like a repair using concrete to me but what's your intention for decorating after, are you painting, wallpapering, etc?
