Plasterboard fixing

I have only used dot & dab a handful of times but the great thing about it is that you can make the boards flat Brick walls are seldom flat and screwing directly to the brick will force the board to follow the contour of the wall. Gripfill/etc shrinks back and you have to wait much longer for it to dry (and it would still need fixings to hold it in place whilst the adhesive sets).

You can get plenty of dot and dab tools to help with the job mate, I would recommend GripIts tool

Gripits are great for plasterboard but the OP was asking about putting up the plasterboard rather than fixing anything to it.
