Hi,
I am in the process of building an ensuite showerroom within an existing room. I am intending to use aquapanel tile boards for shower cubicle (and i will tile on top with waterproof grout) and i will use "green" moisture resistant (MR) plasterboard for the rest of the showerroom (i.e. parts that will be exposed to humidity, but not direct water from shower). is this an okay approach? I was also wondering if its okay to plaster on top of the MR boards, and if so:
1. is there a special primer needed?
2. do I need a special bathroom/humidity grade plaster?
3. does it matter which side of the MR boards are attached to walls? i.e. will the plaster stick to either side of the board?
4. what sort of paint should I finish with? is there something recommended for bathrooms?
thank you in advance for your help,
neil
