I have 2 items i'm unsure about plastering onto

1.What is the best way to cover plastic cavity closers on my internal window reveals? I'm sticking boards over some as i can adhere to the inner block but one room it has to be bonding, browning or something else?

2.whats best to plaster internally to a metal catnic lintel?

Any suggestions?

Overboading is the best but Bonding plaster will take well to plastic cavity closers; fix a lump of metal lath over the reveal first or it will probably crack later.

For the Catnic (underside I assume), 2 layers of wallboard is best (fix with a trade grab adhesive) to prevent cold spots and then skim. Bonding will also stick to steel (overhead is generally a challenge though) if you give it a thin skim coat first & then overcoat after the skim has gone off. A bonding agent will help as suggested; 1:1 PVA/water with some sand (or Bonding plaster) thrown in, leave to dry thoroughly overnight.
